Nearly a year has passed since I completed my doctoral research project alongside 8 brilliant, talented, wise and insightful former youth in care in the Greater Vancouver area. Since then, we have been working hard on a policy & practice oriented report and executive summary of our findings, which is now publicly available via the BC Representative for Children and Youth website! I am so proud of this amazing thing my co-researchers and I did together – as a former youth in care, this project was truly a life changing experience. Thank you to the B.C.’s Representative for Children and YouthFondation Pierre Elliott Trudeau FoundationSocial Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and Vancouver Foundation for supporting our work and making this project possible.

Please read & share the hard work and valuable knowledge we have developed together. Youth in and from care deserve to be heard, valued, and supported ❤

Sincerely,
